Abstract

Carcinoma of the cecum rarely presents as acute appendicitis. Neoplasms can cause an obstruction of the appendix lumen and subsequently result in appendicitis, and this is particularly important in the elderly. İn this study we report a 37 years-old patient with cecal tumor detected during the appendectomy.
