Abstract

Polydactyly is the most common congenital anomaly of the upper limb with incidence of 1/300 - 1/3000. It has been defined to have three clinical types as preaxial, central and postaxial. Postaxial polydactyly is the most common type and the least seen is the central polydactyly. Generally, the treatment of central polydactyly seen with syndactyly is much more complicated when compared with other types of polydactyly. In this report a case diagnosed as complex polysyndactyly is presented with review of the literature.
