Abstract

Objectiue: During the firing procedures, thet be marginal discrepencies in the porcelain fu metal restorations just like the conuentinal partial dentures. This marginal gap may h a carious due to accumulation of the plaqi comprise the success of the materials. Material and Methods: This study evaluate relation between the marginal fit with the re. firings of the crowns that were constructed Empress System. For this purpose, 30 nickel mium days were used to built 30 porcelain by using IPS Empress System. These dayı divided into 2 groups as external and cont the experimental group which was formed u days , incisal porcelains were applied on the c In the control group, all crowns were built u incisal porcelain. The crowns in the both ; were fired 6 times for wash firing , charecter firing, incisal firing, corrective firing, glaze 1 and glaze 2 firing. The marginal gap of crown meausered between the reference points by sitic microscope. From the starting phase am each firing procedures, measurements were ted to evaluate the marginal gap of the crowi Results: After glaze 2 firing, in the expert group marginal gap was -3.65ym - 36m. control group the gap was 7.3 - 47.45ßm. Conclusion: The marginal adaptation of the i in the experimental group, were affected by ted firings
