1991-2000 yılları arasında Fırat Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Cerrahi Kliniği'ne getirilen değişik ırk ve cinsiyetteki 679 buzağıdan 95 tanesinde (%13,99) çeşitli sistemlere ait doğmasal anomaliler saptandı. Sağaltıma elverişli olanlarda gerekli müdahalelerde bulunuldu.
