Abstract

The subject of the study is an analysis of the energy politics following the signing of the Paris Agreement on Climate from a free-rider problem approach. The main hypothesis of the study is that the framework emerging as a result of the Paris Agreement may exacerbate free rider problem. Following the Paris Agreement, states will be compelled to implement certain articles, leading to a free-rider problem. The primary task undertaken in the article is to scrutinize the free-rider problem in relation to the Paris Agreement.
