The present paper aims to describe the role and function of the Department of Paediatric Surgery during the implementation of problem based learning and clinical education in Pamukkale University Medical Faculty in order to demonstrate the importance of multidisciplinary study of the related departments.

Bu makale ile Pamukkale Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde mezuniyet öncesi eğitimin yapılandırılması ve klinik eğitimi aşamasında Çocuk Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı’nın bu konu ile ilgili çalışmaları ve probleme dayalı öğrenci merkezli eğitimin gereği olarak diğer ilgili anabilim dalları ile yapılan ortak çalışmaların önemi vurgulanmak istenmiştir.
