Abstract

This research was done to determine some quality parameters of chaste honey produced in Aydin province and also compare it with the pine and multifloral honey. In this study, some chemical parameters of fresh chaste honey, pine honey and also multifloral honey produced by local beekeepers in Central Anatolia obtained from beekeepers in Aydin province were determined. Data of three honey groups were analyzed with simple analysis of variance (ANOVA). In order to analyze all traits together, multivariate variance analysis and discriminant analysis were used with SPSS package program. In the study, all the differences among the groups for evaluated traits were found to be statistically significant (P
