Abstract

When studies on medical malpractice in our country are examined, it is seen that studies covering only physicians, nurses, midwives and emergency medical technicians have been made in terms of legal res-ponsibility stemming from medical practice. However, physiotherapists who are in direct contact with the patient are at risk of legal liability due to medical application failure. In this study, both the legal status and the level of awareness and knowledge of physiotherapists about the subject were evaluated.
