Abstract

Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC) is a very rare congenital cardiovascular malformation. The most common clinical findings in the early neonatal period are tachypnea and central cyanosis. The prognosis is pretty good with early diagnosis and treatment. We aimed to emphasize the presence of TAPVC as one of the reasons of neonatal respiratory distress presenting a newborn admitted with the complaints of tachypnea and cyanosis to our center, diagnosed to have TAPVC and completely treated with surgery.

Özet

Total anormal pulmoner venöz dönüş oldukça seyrek görülen bir doğuştan kalp hastalığıdır. Erken yenidoğan dönemde en sık görülen klinik bulgular taşipne ve santral siyanozdur. Erken tanı ve tedavi uygulamaları ile prognoz oldukça iyidir. Merkezimize taşipne ve siyanoz bulguları ile sevk edilen, yatışının ikinci saatinde total pulmoner venöz dönüş anomalisi tanısı konularak tam düzeltme ameliyatı yapılan bir olgu sunularak, pulmoner venöz dönüş anomalisinin yenidoğanın solunum sıkıntısı nedenleri arasında olduğunun vurgulanması amaçlanmıştır.
