Abstract

Beta (Beet) species are the important genitorsfor cultivated beets. Turkey is being one of the centre of origin for beet, has important genetic base of beets belong to section Beta and section Corollinae. For this reason the Beta species of section Beta collected from Turkey has been characterised to transmit the material with its characteristics to the breeders. In this study 165 population sample with 990 individuals have been evaluated with 23 morphological characters. Principle Component Analysis (PCA) has been used to determine the diversity of the interpretation of the diversity. The result of Analysis exhibited broad morphological variation model section Beta found in Turkey.

Özet

Beta.
