Abstract

Giant-cell interstitial pneumonia (GIP) is a very uncommon respi ratory disease. The majority of cases of GIP are caused by expo sure to cobalt, tungsten and other hard metals. We report a case of hard metal lung disease which occurred in a diamond industry worker. The diagnosis was based on the clinical, radiological and pathological findings.

Özet

Dev hücreli interstisiyel pnömoni (DHİP) oldukça ender görülen bir respiratuar hastalıktır. Olguların çoğu kobalt, tungsten gibi sert metallere maruziyet sonrası görülür. Burada elmas bileme işçisinde gelişen sert metal akciğer hastalığı olgusu sunulmakta dır. Tanı klinik, radyolojik ve patolojik bulgular ışığında verilmiş tir.
