Abstract

Cosmetic facial autologous fat injections are becoming popular and considered safe. Their serious adverse effects are potentially devas- tating when they occur. The aim of this report is to discuss the clinical feature, management and visual prognosis of the case of central retinal artery occlusion after periocular autologous fat injection and a literature review.

Özet

Spektral domain optic koherens tomografi (OKT)’nin artırılmış derinlikte görüntüleme ve en-face görüntüleme modu ile saptanmış Kozmetik amaçla yüze yapılan otolog yağ enjeksiyonları günümüzde sıklıkla uygulanan girişimlerdir. Bu işlemler güvenli olarak kabul edilmekle birlikte nadiren de olsa ortaya çıkan komplikasyonların ciddi sonuçları olabilmektedir. Bu yazının amacı göz çevresine yapılan otolog yağ enjeksiyonu sonrası gelişen bir santral retinal arter oklüzyonu olgusunu sunarak bu klinik tablonun özelliklerini, tedavi yaklaşımlarını ve görsel prognozunu literatür bilgilerinin ışığı altında tartışmaktır.
