Abstract

Anterior segment ischemia is a rare, self limiting postoperative complication, seen in different clinical levels from a mild iritis to phitisis bulbi and usually heals without any sequela but sometimes cause blindness. It can be seen after retinal detachment surgery, strabismus surgery and sometimes spontaneously. In this report, clinical features and sequelas of a serious anterior segment ischemia which was seen after a medial, superior and inferior rectus muscles surgery to correct the esotropia secondary to sixth nerve palsy were presented.
