Aim: To assess the effectiveness and results of a small-incision aponeurotic or levator tuck technique for blepharoptosis repair. Matarial and Method: We assessed retrospectively the charts of patients who had undergone ptosis correction by a small-incision aponeurotic or levator tuck technique, between June 2006- September 2007 in our oculoplastic division. Patients’ characteristics, pre-and post-operative data of local examination and available photographs were reviewed. Result: Twelve eyes of 11 patients who had a follow-up period of minimum three months were included in the study. The mean age was 30.5± 6.6 years. The mean follow-up period was 5.3±3.2 months. The diagnosis was aponeurotic ptosis in nine eyes, and myogenic ptosis in three eyes. The levator function was 8 mm or higher in all the patients (mean±SD: 10±1.4 mm). A satisfactory result was obtained in 10 of 12 eyes (83%) in terms of ptosis correction and good eyelid contour. Operating time was 45 minutes or less in all cases (mean±SD:32.1±5.4 minutes). No complication was observed such as upper eyelid edema or haematoma during the post-operative course. Amaç: Levator fonksiyonu iyi olan üst göz kapağı ptozisli olgularda küçük kesili cilt yaklaşımlı olarak yapılan levator kası ve aponevrozu katlama yönteminin etkinliğini değerlendirmek. Gereç ve Yöntem: Servisimizde oküloplastik cerrahi birimince Haziran 2006- Eylül 2007 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen küçük kesili aponevroz veya levator katlama ameliyatları retrospektif olarak gözden geçirildi. Hastalara ait yaş, cinsiyet, lokal muayene bulguları, ameliyat sonrası kontrol muayenelerinde elde edilen veriler ve fotoğraflar değerlendirilerek kaydedildi. Bulgular: En az üç ay takibi yapılabilmiş 11 hastanın 12 gözü çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastaların ortalama yaşı 30.5±16.6 yıldı. Dokuz gözde aponevrotik, diğer 3 gözde myojenik ptozis mevcuttu. Tüm hastalarda levator fonksiyonu 8mm veya üzerindeydi (ortalama 10±1.4 mm). Ortalama takip süresi 5.3±3.2 aydı.
