Abstract

Early/late consecutive exotropia is one of the complications following surgical treatment of infantile esotropia. This report aims to present the surgical treatment and the 6 month results of a patient with consecutive exotropia associated with dissociated vertical deviation which developed after surgical treatment for infantile esotropia. The surgical treatment consisted of inferior oblique anterior transposition, lateral rectus recession and advancement of the medial rectus.

Özet

İnfantil ezotropya cerrahisinden sonra erken/geç ardıl ekzotropya, oluşabilecek komplikasyonlar arasında sayılmaktadır. Bu yazıda amaç, dissosiye vertikal deviasyonu ve infantil ezotropya cerrahisi sonrasında açığa çıkan ardıl ekzotropyası olan bir olguya yapılan alt oblik anterior transpozisyonu dış rektus geriletmesi ve iç rektus ilerletmesinin 6 ay sonraki sonuçları ile birlikte sunmaktır.
