Abstract

Free flaps have been widely used for reconstrution of complicated scalp defects. Local scalp flaps which have rich vascular network, are good alternatives of the free flaps. In this paper usage of scalp flaps to close complicated scalp defects following tumour resection was presented. Also in this study scalp flaps compared with free flaps as well as advantages also disadvantages of them were discussed.
