Abstract

Coronary artery aneurysm is a rarely seen anomaly of coronary arteries with an incidence of 0.15-4.9 %. It is of considerable importance, because although it is usually asymptomatic, it may lead to many complications such as thrombosis, distal embolization, or rupture that may result in angina, myocardial infarction, or even sudden death. Here, we present a symptomatic case of coronary aneurysm involving proximal left anterior descending artery and review the literature.
