Abstract

Hereditary tyrosinemia typel and bronchomalacia are two different clinical diagnosis which have not been reported together before. A significant improvement has been achieved through phenylalanin and tyrosin restricted diet and BiPAP (Bi-level positive airway pressure) ventilatory support in this patient with tyrosinemia and severe bronchomalacia. In severe bronchomalasia, pneumatic stent by mechanical ventilation can be used as an alternative treatment modality.
