Günümüzde küreselleşme, değişen teknoloji ve sosyal değişmeler sayesinde iş yaşamı da değişmeye başlamıştır. Böylece sektörlerin, değişen iş gerekleri ve iş koşulları; iş dünyasında çalışan, üniversite eğitimini tamamlamış ve hali hazırda eğitim sürecinde olan öğrenciler için oldukça önemli bir hal almıştır. Güncel yönetim uygulamalarından güçlendirme uygulaması bu değişen beklentileri tanımlar.
