Abstract

This study defines the relationship between motivation levels and learning styles of 6th and 7th year students of the Science and Technology Course at a Primary School in the period of 2006-2007. As an instrument “Learning Motivation Survey” developed by the researchers is used to define learning motivation. The research also uses “Learning Styles Inventory” to define learning styles developed by Ersoy (2003). Pearson Coorelation technics is used for data analysis. The research concludes that motivation levels and success of 6. and 7. class level students in the science and technology course are found to be related with visual learning styles, but no meaningful relation with success to audible or tangible learning styles.
