Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a common metabolic disease affecting multiple organ systems, and skin manifestations are among its frequent yet often overlooked complications. Changes caused by hyperglycemia play a significant role in the development of various skin lesions. Recognition of dermatologic manifestations is clinically important for early diagnosis, appropriate follow-up, and prevention of diabetes-related complications. This review aims to summarize the main skin manifestations observed in patients with diabetes.
