Abstract
This research aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 105 postgraduate theses on Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) produced in Turkey between 2015 and 2025. Of these theses, 90 are master's theses, while 15 are doctoral dissertations. Employing a bibliometric analysis model, the study systematically examined theses accessed through the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center. The analysis was based on variables including publication year, university distribution, the academic title of the advisor, thesis type, methodological approach, data collection tools, and thematic content. The findings reveal that academic production concerning BİLSEM has increased over the last three years, with the highest volume of theses published in 2022. The research indicates a distinct concentration of studies at the master's level and a predominance of qualitative research methods. Gazi University emerged as the institution producing the highest number of studies on science and art centers. Regarding data collection processes, it was observed that instruments such as scales, interviews, and forms were widely preferred. During the screening phase, "education and instruction" was determined to be the most frequently encountered theme, while the theme of "mathematics" was found to be more prevalent than other secondary themes. Additionally, it was identified that a significant majority of the theses were prepared under the supervision of academics holding the title of professor. It is anticipated that the findings of this study will contribute to the literature by delineating academic trends within the BİLSEM context, identifying existing research gaps, and providing a guiding framework for future research.
