Abstract

This study examines the digital transformation processes of children's literature materials within the transmedia storytelling ecosystem through pedagogical, technological, and cultural dimensions. Document analysis, a qualitative research approach, was adopted as the methodology. In this context, the universal and mechanical principles of paper engineering were analyzed through Robert Sabuda's pop-up works, while digital transformation, technology integration, and cultural adaptation in local children's literature were analyzed through the Nasreddin Hodja Time Traveller augmented reality (AR)-supported interactive publishing ecosystem. Findings obtained through descriptive analysis demonstrate that traditional pop-up mechanisms support fine motor skills and haptic perception in children through spatial memory, whereas AR-supported hybrid models provide multi-sensory learning environments. Consequently, the research reveals that blending traditional narrative forms with modern technological opportunities serves as a strategic tool for transmitting the philosophical essence of local cultural figures to new generations while preserving it, and for gaining representation in the global digital market.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, çocuk edebiyatı materyallerinin transmedya anlatı ekosistemi içerisindeki dijital dönüşüm süreçleri pedagojik, teknolojik ve kültürel boyutlarıyla incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından doküman analizi yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, kâğıt mühendisliğinin evrensel ve mekanik yapısı Robert Sabuda’nın pop-up eserleri üzerinden; yerel çocuk edebiyatındaki dijital dönüşümü, teknoloji entegrasyonu ve kültürel uyarlama ise Nasreddin Hoca Zaman Yolcusu artırılmış gerçeklik (AR) destekli etkileşimli yayın ekosistemi üzerinden çözümlenmiştir. Betimsel analiz tekniğiyle elde edilen bulgular, geleneksel pop-up mekanizmalarının çocuklarda ince motor becerileri ve haptik algıyı mekânsal hafıza yoluyla desteklediğini; AR destekli hibrit modellerin ise çoklu duyusal öğrenme ortamları sunduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma sonucunda, geleneksel anlatı formlarının modern teknolojik imkânlarla harmanlanmasının, yerel kültürel figürlerin felsefi özünü koruyarak yeni nesillere aktarılmasında ve küresel dijital pazarda temsil gücü kazanmasında stratejik bir araç olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.
