Abstract

The Industrial Revolution, which began in England in the 1760s, evolved from manual and physical labor to machine power and rapidly spread to Europe and the United States. The second and third industrial revolutions, together with programming, digital developments, and computers, added new dimensions to production processes. The aim of this study is to ensure the continuity and vitality of handicrafts as a cultural/regional richness in the technological environment brought by Industry 4.0, and to preserve the values produced over the years for future generations.

Özet

1760’lı yıllarda İngiltere’de başlayan Endüstri Devrimi, el ve beden emeğinden makine gücüne doğru evrim geçirmiş, kısa sürede Avrupa ve ABD’ye yayılmıştır. Endüstri 2 ve 3 devrimi, programları, dijital gelişmeler ve bilgisayarlarla birlikte üretim süreçlerine yeni boyutlar katmıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı, Endüstri 4.0’ın getirdiği teknoloji ortamında El Sanatlarının kültürel/yöresel bir zenginlik olarak sürdürülmesi ve yaşatılması, yıllar içinde üretilmiş değerlerin geleceğe kalmasıdır.
