Abstract

Globally, the inability to diagnose various diseases early or apply effective treatment methods can lead to individuals losing their health and suffering permanent or temporary damage. The aim of this study is to examine health entrepreneurship practices in Türkiye that contribute to solution processes in disease prevention and aim to protect individuals before diseases occur. Descriptive analysis method was used in the research. Within the scope of the study, 80 accessible/accessible initiatives out of 125 initiatives were evaluated. The findings show that health entrepreneurship in Turkey is developing especially in the field of digitalization. Various health initiative examples were found in areas such as healthy living (BeWell, Vivoo, Yeşil Science, etc.), medical imaging (SCOPER, Hevi AI, EyeCheckup, etc.), mental health (Visutate, Terappin, etc.), and wearable technologies (ALEA Neurotechnology, Triwi, GlaucoT, etc.). The findings show that digital health entrepreneurship is particularly concentrated in hospital and pharmacy solutions (n=13, 16.25%) and biotechnology and R&D (n=12, 15%), while remaining relatively limited in mental health (n=4, 5%) and child health (n=2, 2.5%). To support the sustainable development of digital health initiatives in Türkiye, strengthening collaboration among the public sector, private sector, and academia is recommended.
