Abstract
In this qualitative research conducted using a single case study design, the opinions of school administrators and classroom teachers regarding the Life Skills, My Educational Journey with My Family, and Active Living, Play, and Skill Activities (HOBA) projects within the scope of TYMM were examined. The study group consisted of seven administrators and 24 classroom teachers from six different primary schools. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with administrators and online forms completed by classroom teachers during the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and analyzed using inductive content analysis. The findings show that the projects contribute to student development and school-family cooperation; however, they also indicate that issues such as the timing of the projects, the large number of projects, the projects interfering with the implementation of the current curriculum, limitations in parent participation, and physical infrastructure and material deficiencies complicate the process. Teachers and administrators seek solutions to these issues by advocating for the implementation of fewer, more planned projects that are functional and have regional and school-based flexibility. In conclusion, the successful implementation of TYMM projects will be possible through academic calendar-aligned planning, contextual flexibility, and the voluntary and enthusiastic participation of teachers in the process.
