Abstract

The findings of a long-term research project on the transit timing variations of selected hot-Jupiter type exoplanets and the eclipse timing variations observed in a group of eclipsing binary systems, most of which have completed their post-common envelope evolutions, and the results of their observations carried out at five observatories across Turkey are presented within this contribution. Finally, preliminary analysis of the TrES-5 system, which has been claimed to display variations in its transit timings, is provided as a case study.
