Abstract

In this study, the populations of the red sequence galaxies which are determined from the color-magnitude diagrams of the galaxy clusters are investigated both in cluster center and in the outer parts of the cluster. The variation of faint/lum(F/L) galaxy ratios which is determined from red sequence galaxies was investigated depends on both the density of environment and the redshift. In the study we used the galaxy clusters which are determined from two different datasets with two different methods. The Clusters determined by WaZP algorithm based on galaxy density in the CFHTLS-W1 field and CAMIRA algorithms using color-magnitude diagrams in Subaru HSC-SSP survey were examined. Regardless of the position of the galaxies in the cluster, we found that the ratio of faint/lum galaxies is higher at smaller redshifts when compared with their counterparts at higher redshifts.
