Abstract

The importance of day care centers and kindergartens tends to increase while women become more intensely involved in issues such as economics and when rapid urbanization is considered. It is well known that mental and motor development are better in children who continue to day care centers when compared with children who do not. However infections in these children constitutes a significant risk. In this article we discussed the specifications required for day care centers and the infections that are widely seen in children who attend such institutes whereas the prevention methods of such infections are discussed under the light of the literature.
