Abstract

Menopause is a critical period characterized by significant physiological and psychosocial changes that can negatively impact women's quality of life. AI-enabled technologies offer innovative opportunities for monitoring and managing menopause-related symptoms. AI-based applications regularly collect and analyze women's physiological and psychological data through mobile health apps, smart wearable devices, and online platforms, contributing to the development of personalized recommendations and early intervention strategies. They also help early identify menopause-related risks such as cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and depression. However, the use of AI in menopause management presents challenges such as data privacy, algorithm bias, and a lack of digital literacy among older women. For AI applications to be effective and sustainable, they must be designed with cultural, inclusive, and behavioral interventions in mind. Increasing digital literacy and ensuring data security among menopausal women will increase their trust in AI technologies and broaden their use. This research aims to examine menopause management using AI-enabled digital solutions.
