Abstract

This paper elaborates on how green innovation education (GIE) plans a company to enhance its performance in green innovation domain through process of applying various ecotypes. The study prefers to employ the firm-specific fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method to approximate 121 companies. These methodological types are employed in the context of the close examination of various kinds of green innovation concerning the topic of sustainability of businesses. The companies of the research that chose the route of the incorporation of GIE into their business model fared much better and had a greater market share, in addition to the fact that they had a well-established customer bond. The study provides the key aspects of green innovation (such as technological innovation, eco-design, and service innovation) as the primary elements that stand more than the better performance of the firm. The part of the contribution to body of knowledge on green innovation is made following a presentation of the empirical evidence that is based in developing countries, which previous studies typically have overlooked.
