Abstract
This article aims to answer the question of how the science of Hadith transformed into a Turkish scientific language in higher education by evaluating the relevant process through individuals, works and main factors, based on the in-field literature produced in Turkey during the Republican Era. In this context, it is supposed that criticizing a professional language in all its possible dimensions will reflect positively on the quality of literature within the country; moreover, it will bring international prestige, especially in terms of citation level. Firstly, the article will summarize the adventure of Turkish in the last century; then the concept of scientific language will be emphasized. Thus, the grounds for establishing closer links between Turkish, the concept of scientific language and the Hadith Literature will be formed. The analysis for Turkish science language of Hadith will be conducted under 4 headings: translations and commentaries, textbooks, original works, and studies on orientalism. Considering the volume of the article, a literature-centered evaluation will be made; since it is deemed appropriate to be the subject of independent research, the analysis of terminology, language, and style will not be studied unless necessary. For the research, document review method will be applied and a study sample, which is thought to adequately meet each title, will be processed by using qualitative data analysis method through issues related to the language of science. Within the framework of the findings obtained, it is understood that the texts constituting the language of science were written in 4 periods and that some political moves or language policies had reflections on the professional scientific language. It is assumed that some problems within the field can be solved by increasing studies focusing on professional scientific language.

Bu makale, Cumhuriyet devri itibarıyla Türkiye’de üretilen alan içi yazından yola çıkarak Hadis ilminin yükseköğretimde Türkçe bir bilim diline nasıl dönüştüğü sorusuna şahıslar, eserler ve ana etkenler üzerinden cevap vererek ilgili sürecin değerlendirilmesini konu edinmektedir. Belirtilen doğrultuda bir meslek dilini muhtemel bütün boyutlarıyla tetkik etmenin, ülke içi yazın kalitesini müspet yönde etkileyeceği; dahası atıf alma düzeyi başta gelmek üzere uluslararası saygınlığı beraberinde getireceği öngörülmektedir. Makalede öncelikle Türkiye Türkçesinin son bir asırlık serüveni ana hatlarıyla özetlenecek; ardından bilim dili kavramı üzerinde durulacaktır. Böylelikle Türkçe ve bilim dili kavramı ile Hadis Edebiyatı arasında daha sıkı irtibatlar kurabilmenin zemini oluşturulacaktır. Türkçe hadis bilim dilinin tahlili sırasıyla çeviriler ve şerhler, ders kitapları, özgün eserler ve oryantalizm konulu çalışmalar olmak üzere 4 başlık altında yapılacaktır. Hacim gözetilerek çoğunlukla yazın merkezli bir değerlendirme yapılacak; müstakil bir araştırmaya konu edilmesi uygun görüldüğünden terminoloji, dil ve üslup tahliline gerektiği kadarıyla yer verilecektir. Araştırma için belge tarama yöntemi uygulanacak; her başlığı yeterince karşıladığı düşünülen çalışma örneklemi, bilim diliyle irtibatlı hususlar üzerinden nitel veri analiz yöntemiyle işlenecektir. Elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde bilim dilini oluşturan metinlerin 4 devrede yazıldıkları, birtakım siyasî hamlelerin veyahut dil politikalarının meslekî bilim diline yansımaları olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Meslekî bilim diline odaklanan araştırmaların artmasıyla alan içi bazı sorunların çözülebileceği varsayılmaktadır.
