Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a telepostural awareness program combined with exercise in patients with neck pain. Material and Methods: Forty-six subjects (34 female, 12 male) with neck pain with a mean age of 20.48±SD 1.16 years were included. A postural awareness program combined with exercises 3 days a week for 12 weeks was given by a certified physiotherapist. The pain was determined with a visual analog scale, neck disability with Neck Disability Index, leisure time management with the Leisure Time Management Scale, and exercise stage of behavior with the Exercise Stage of Change Scale. Results: Significant differences were detected in pain (p 0.05). Conclusion: This study showed that telepostural awareness program combined with exercises in people with neck pain impacts pain, neck disability severity, and free time management. This study will contribute to developing innovative healthcare models that address pain management and exercise in people with neck pain.
