Abstract

With today's data, the Earth is known as the only planet where life exists. The continuation of life on Earth with the existing species is possible by maintaining the existing ecological balance. Air temperature has a great role in maintaining this balance. The types of living beings also change with the effect of changing climatic conditions at different latitudes. While plants and animals continue their lives with different species that adapt to different climatic conditions, human beings have the ability to survive almost everywhere in the world. The ability of people to sustain their lives in accordance with the climatic conditions in which they live is directly related to their nutrition, dressing and architectural styles. In other words, air temperature is one of the main determinants of people's lifestyles. But what are the limits of people's ability to live in different temperatures? Is it possible to determine a lifestyle in accordance with every temperature condition in the world? Is it possible to determine a lifestyle suitable for every temperature condition in the world? The issue that we want to draw attention to within the scope of these questions is global climate change, which is the subject of many studies today. Scientists are talking about possible increases in air temperature if the world's environmental resources continue to be used in their current form. It is not fully understood how these temperature increases may change the current living conditions of people. In this context, it is thought that it is possible to understand the changing lifestyles of people living in different temperature conditions with the effect of these conditions by explaining the subject through extreme examples. Within the scope of the study, Yakutsk, Lut Desert and Kuwait, which are among the coldest and hottest places in the world, were analyzed. Thus, it is exemplified what kind of lifestyles people may face in case of possible extreme increases or decreases in air temperatures that may occur over the years. Rather than trying to explain global climate change through its possible effects, it is thought that a higher level of awareness can be created in society by addressing the issue in terms of its effects on daily life through existing living spaces.

Bitkiler ve hayvanlar farklı iklim koşullarına uyum sağlayan farklı türleriyle yaşamlarını sürdürmekteyken insanoğlu dünyanın hemen hemen her yerinde yaşamını sürdürebilme yetisine sahiptir.
