Abstract

Artificial intelligence systems are important in the information distortion phenomenon facing humanity today. These systems make it easy to disseminate realistic fake content on a large scale, which exacerbates the problem. To prevent this, other systems have been created to identify and control information distortion. These systems cannot escape the human rights and ethical sensitivities associated with freedom of information and expression. In this context, the study aims to present the relationship between artificial intelligence and disinformation as a descriptive, theoretical and literature review. It also focuses on the benefits and drawbacks of artificial intelligence, which opens a different field in interpersonal communication than in the past, and its contributions to possible changes in communication activities. The study finds that the business model of the web based on advertising revenues is important in disinformation, and predicts that legal regulations and controls can reduce the problem.
