Abstract

This study was carried out during the spring and autumn production seasons in cucumber greenhouse, 500 m in size, belonging to a local farmer in 2004 in İncirliova (Aydın). There was no any insecticide application in control parsels,100m in size, during the vegetation period. Twenty leaves taken randomly from treated and non-treated parcels were sampled weekly . The leaves were placed in a jar under laboratory conditions to compare the number of emerging leafminer adults and parasitoids. When treated and non-treated parcels compared in greenhouse conditions, it has been found that there was an important difference in parasitoit numbers although the difference in infection rate was not significant.
