Özet

Bu çalışmamızda Multiple Skleroz (MS) hastalarında depresyon ve anksiyete belirtilerinin sıklığı, Genişletilmiş Özürlülük Durum Skalası (EDSS) değerleri, hastalık süresi, atak sayısı ve sosyodemografik faktörlerle olan ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın araştırma grubunu 50 MS hastası oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri, Genişletilmiş Özürlülük Durum Skalası (EDSS,ExpandedDisabilityStatusScala), Hamilton Anksiyete Derecelendirme Ölçeği (HAM-A), Hamilton depresyon derecelendirme ölçeği (HAM-D) ve sosyodemografik veri ölçeği kullanı-larak toplanmıştır. Çalışmamızda MS hastalarında sosyodemografik faktörlerin depresyon ve anksiyete açısından anlamlı bir risk oluşturma-dığı görülmüştür. Hastaların HAM-D toplam ölçek puanı ile EDSS ölçek skoru (r=0,738; p
