Abstract

Every society has its own peculiar religious customs and traditions. These traditions are extremely important in order to maintain the existence of the culture itself. In Islamic tradition too, there has been a significant effort to create a bouquet of “Forty Hadiths”. Bringing together a bouqet of forty hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, whose sayings, doings and approvals are each referred as an hadith, and organising and presenting them in a way that would be easier for people to learn has been ongoing in Islamic societies for centuries. Prophetic expressions like: “Whosoever amongst my community memorizes Forty Hadiths, May God resurrect him amongst the wise hereafter” are found in religious texts. This kind of practice has been customary with regard to various professions. However, as we have noticed that there has not been any attempt to gather Forty Hadiths on music, we have ventured here to gather Forty Hadiths about music and entertainment together with their commentaries

Özet

Tarihte her topluluğun kendine özgü dini gelenekleri olmuştur. Gelenekler milletlerin varlığını sürdürebilmesi ve kültürlerinin bekası açısından çok önemlidir. İslâm geleneği içerisinde en önemli uygulamalardan birisi de Kırk Hadis demeti oluşturma çabalarıdır. Söylediği, uyguladığı ve tasdik ettiği her faaliyeti hadis olarak zikredilen Hz. Muhammed s.a.v. ’in dini günlük hayatla ilgili hadislerinden kırk tanesini seçerek bir hadis demeti oluşturup bunu insanların öğrenmesine yardımcı olacak şekilde düzenleme ve sunma gayreti İslâm toplumlarında yüzyıllar boyu devam edegelmiştir. “ Ümmetimden kim kırk hadis hıfzederse, Allah onu âlimler ve fakihler arasında diriltsin.” Şeklinde ifadeler dini kaynaklarda geçmektedir. Dolayısıyla biz de bu çalışmamızda özellikle mûsiki ve eğlenmeye dair kırk hadisi düzenleyerek bir buket oluşturmaya çalıştık. Hemen hemen her branştan ve meslekten çeşitli âlimlerce bu konu ele alınmış ve ilgili oldukları alanda kırk hadis demeti oluşturmuşlardır. Araştırmalarımızda mûsikî alanında kırk hadis çalışmasının yapılmadığını gördük. Bu yüzden mûsikî alanlında kırk hadis toplayarak ve şerh ederek bu çalışmayı oluşturmaya karar verdik
