Abstract

Today, organizations must cope with the complexities of a new working environment created by psycho social risk factors, a world of rapid changes in technology, increased awareness of mental health, and greater emphasis on diversity and inclusion. In addition to the various problems caused by the neo-liberal labor crisis, the new working conditions, which have now irreversibly become the norm after the pandemic, make it impossible to think in the old conditions. Depression, anxiety, burnout, suicidal tendencies, etc., which we have increasingly encountered in recent years. The increase in people applying to the hospital due to complaints in specific occupational groups, such as bankers, recalls the question of whether this profession, due to its nature, causes such psychological complaints. It provides evidence that, due to performance management and organizational structure in such knowledge-intensive and white-collar professions; the issue of occupational diseases and occupational safety, which are mostly associated with blue-collar, production sector and dirty work; is expanding and there may be newly identified occupational diseases. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological attrition and occupational diseases. Accordingly, the concepts of psychological attrition and occupational diseases and the relationship between these concepts were examined through conceptual maps using bibliometric methods. WOS database and R program were used to analyze bibliometric data. As a result of the study, it is aimed to develop suggestions for theory and practitioners.
