Abstract

Due to the nature of tourism, people need short-term rentals to meet their transportation, accommodation and food-drink needs. With the development of technology, people easily interact with each other in the web environment. Due to this situation, while traveling from one place to another, they benefit from the sharing economy with short-term rentals that have fewer costs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the food sharing sites established on the web within the scope of sharing economy by using content analysis method. The sample of the research is Eatwith, Landshare, Casserole Club, Lets Lunch, BonAppetour, Yeatup and evpismis.com. As a result of the analyzes, it has been determined that food sharing sites were established for different purposes and used by people.
