Abstract
This research examines the effect of video model aided teaching technique on performances of classical guitar students at beginner level. To achieve these objective in the Faculty of Education elective "Guitar Instruction" course students of the experimental application was. The performance of experimental and control group students were recorded with a video cameras and these recordings were evaluated by three different observers. Kendall's coefficient of concordance was applied for harmony between the observers and Mann Whitney U test was applied for analysis of the obtained data. Research results indicated that the video aided guitar teaching technique has a positive influence on holding the guitar, right hand - left hand performances and performances on a monodical piece.
Özet
Bu araştırmada, video model destekli öğretimin, başlangıç aşamasındaki klasik gitar öğrenci performanslarına olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda eğitim fakültesinde seçmeli “Gitar Öğretimi” dersi öğrencilerine deneysel uygulama yapılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin performansları video kamera ile kaydedilmiş, bu kayıtlar üç ayrı gözlemci tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Gözlemciler arası uyum için Kendall W Uyuşma Katsayısı, elde edilen verilerin analizi için ise Mann Whitney U testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, video model destekli gitar öğretimin, gitar tutuş, sağ el, sol el performansları ve tek sesli bir eser üzerindeki performansa olumlu etkisi olduğu görülmüştür.
