Abstract
This study aims to examine the reflection of the attitudes of parents who have children in primary school towards their children on the child's behavior. The design of the research is phenomenology, one of the qualitative research methods. The study group of this research is 16 parents who have children in a primary school in Bafra district of Samsun province in Turkey. The data were collected with the interview form created by the researchers and analyzed with content analysis. Bu çalışma, ilkokulda çocuğu olan anne babaların çocuklarına yönelik tutumlarının çocuğun davranışlarına yansımasını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın deseni nitel araştırma yönetmelerinden olgu bilimdir. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu Türkiye’de Samsun ili Bafra ilçesinde bir ilkokulda çocuğu olan 16 anne babadır. Veriler araştırmacıların oluşturduğu görüşme formuyla toplanarak içerik analiziyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, anne babaların çocuklarına karşı demokratik ve eşitlikçi tutum, tutarsız ve dengesiz tutum, otoriter ve baskıcı tutum, aşırı hoşgörülü ve serbest tutum ile aşırı koruyucu ve müdahaleci tutum sergiledikleri; anne babaların olumsuz tutumlarının olumlu tutumlardan daha fazla olduğu; anne baba tutumlarından kaynaklı olarak çocuklarda görülen olumlu davranışların sorumluluk, merhamet, saygı ve düzen tertip olarak; olumsuz davranışların ise sinirlilik, şiddet, istediğini yaptırma, ağlama, aşırı duygusallık, alınganlık ve sorumsuzluk olarak belirtildiği ; ailede eğitim seviyesi arttıkça daha hoşgörülü ve demokratik tutum sergilendiği, anne babaların çocuklara kural koymada yetersiz kaldıkları ve tutarsız davrandıkları, sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
