Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the rates of occurrence of the course of mobbing between the employees of the primary schools The domain of the research planned in a screening model covers the staffs who are in 16 primary schools in four central districts of Ankara in Ankara in 2004-2005 education years. The questionnaire is made up of four separate dimensions in fivefold Likert type is prepared in order to measure the frequency of the intimidating behaviors to which the staff of education and managers are exposed. Frequency distribution, percentage and t-test were determined in an analysis of the data gathered in the survey, which showed that male teachers and managers in sub-categories "capturing attention and communication, social relations, damage to reputation, life quality, and professional status" were exposed to mobbing more than female teachers and managers.
