MODERN MÜZECİLİK ve TÜRK MÜZECİLİĞİ

Özet

Öz Kökeni oldukça erken devirlere giden Müzecilik, Yakın Doğudaki İmparatorların katkılarıyla gelişmiş, Yunanlılarla bilinçli bir şekil kazanmış ve Romalılarla da bu günkü müzecilik düşüncesinin ilk temelleri atılmıştır. Ülkemizde ise, Osman Hamdi Bey’in kişisel çabalarıyla başlayan müzecilik, Cumhuriyet döneminde Atatürk’ün akılcı politikalarıyla çağdaş bir seviyeye erişmiştir. Günümüzde toplumsal, sosyal, psikolojik ve teknolojik boyutlarıyla değerlendirilen modern müzecilik, toplumu eğitmek, sosyal ve kültürel açıdan gelişmesini sağlamak gibi bir misyonu üstlenmiştir. Ülkemizde modern müzecilik anlamında özellikle taşra müzelerinde bir çok sorun bulunmaktadır. Müzelerimizin sorunlarının giderilmesi ve modern bir yapıya kavuşturulması için müzeciliğimizin ve müzelerimizin gönüllü önderlere ihtiyacı vardır. Museum, having its origin dating back to the prehistoric times, developed by means of the contributions of the emperors in the Near East and reached its conscious level in Greeks and its today’s state in Rome. In our country, Osman Hamdi Bey made great contributions to the development of museology, which later reached a modern level through Atatürk’s efforts.Appreciated on cultural, social and psychological levels, museology today bears the function of transferring the past of the society to the train and render conscious the society about its social and cultural structure.These are a lot of inadequate elements in our museums in Turkey, not only the modern but also the smaller ones. Our Museums usually endeavour on their own to modernize themselves as they are deprived of state subsidy.There is a great need for leaders and pioneering figures so as to rid the museums of their present negative situation.
