\r\n Çalışmalar, öğretmenlerin öğretim sürecinde medya ve teknolojiyi öğrenmeyi artırıcı amaçlı kullanamadıklarını göstermektedir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada fen öğretmenlerine ya da öğretmen adaylarına bilgisayarın ve medya araçlarının aslında fen kavramları üzerine kurulup geliştiği örnek fen etkinlikleriyle ilişkilendirilerek sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın son basamağında bu anlatılanların somutlaştırılabilmesi için bir öğrencinin besinlerin içerisinde karbonhidratın gösterilmesine yönelik hazırladığı bir materyalin hazırlanma süreci anlatılmıştır. Medyanın temellerini bilmek, öğretmen ya da öğretmen adaylarını fen derslerinde materyal hazırlama ve kullanmalarını cesaretlendireceği beklenmektedir.\r\n
