Özet

Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde(vakıf/devlet) lisans seviyesindeki çağdaş sanat eğitimi müfredatının yeni medya sanatını kapsayıcılığı araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla yüksek öğretim kurumlarındaki; Sanat Tarihi, Resim, Grafik, Grafik Tasarımı, Görsel İletişim Tasarımı, Medya ve Görsel Sanatlar programlarının hali hazırdaki ders programları web üzerinden incelenmiştir. 1980’li yıllardan itibaren özellikle de internetin keşfiyle gelişen yeni medya sanatları ve eğitimi ülkemizde batılı anlamda (müfredat+media lab) sadece vakıf üniversitelerinde kendine ciddi bir yer edinmiş, devlet üniversitelerinde sadece fotoğraf, video sanatı şeklinde, geleneksel sanat müfredatı içerisinde son derece kısıtlı bir çerçevede ele alınmıştır. Devlet üniversitelerinde yeni medya sanatları sayılı seçmeli ders olarak müfredata girebilmiştir.
