Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop a scale to determine the self-efficacy level of teacher training students for educational and social activities that they need do in the case of having students with special needs in their classroom. The survey method is employed as the research design and data were collected from two different groups of 650 teacher training students studying at college of education in a large public university. The data were collected from the first group (313 students) used for the exploratory factor analysis to establish the construct validity of the scale. In line with the results obtained from the data, a two-factors scale consisting of 17 items was formed. The internal consistency reliability coefficient (α) was calculated as .901. Confirmatory factor analysis is conducted with the data collected from the second group (337 students) to confirm the two-factors of the scale. The scale developed according to the findings is found to be a valid and reliable measurement tool
