Abstract

Hotels, like other businesses that are intertwined with the society, need to develop social responsibility projects. Because one of the ways to increase the sustainability and corporate reputation of the enterprise by turning possible risks into opportunities in order to produce solutions to social problems, to contribute to the economy and social development, is to take part in the social responsibility project development and implementation processes of the enterprise. At the same time, it is very important that hotel businesses have labour intensity and that qualified employees continue to stay in the business. The involvement of employees in social responsibility activities can positively affect their ties with the business, and this may lead to their intention to stay at work. In the research, it was examined how the corporate social responsibilities of hotel businesses are perceived by the employees and the relationship between their perceptions and their intention to stay at work. According to the findings obtained in the study, it was determined that there is a relationship between the employees' intention to stay at work and the ethical CSR dimension, which is one of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) dimensions. However, no relationship was found between the employees' intention to stay at work and the legal, voluntary, and economic CSR dimensions. In addition, older employees have more positive intentions to stay, and their intention to stay increases as the working years of the employees increase.
