Effects of the Involvement in Preschool Education Programs on the Information Levels of Mothers

Özet

Bu araştırma, okul öncesi eğitimde annelere uygulanan “Sınıf İçi Etkinliklere Katılım Programı”nın, annelerin okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki bilgilerine etkisinin incelenmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Ankara İli Gölbaşı ilçesindeki Baldudak İlköğretim Okulu anasınıfına devam eden 25 çocuğun anneleri deney, diğer iki okuldaki 25 çocuğun anneleri de kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 50 anne örneklem grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırma ile ilgili verilerin toplanmasında kullanılan “Okul Öncesi Eğitim Bilgi Formu” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” yazarlar tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada, deneysel işlemden elde edilen verilerin analizinde Kruskal Wallis Testi, Mann-Whitney U Testi, İki Ortalama Arasındaki Farkın Önemlilik Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının son test sonuçlarına göre, deney grubunun okul öncesi eğitime ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılığın olduğu saptanmıştır (P

Abstract

This study is designed to analyze the impact of “Program of Involvement in Class Activities” on the mothers’ knowledge on preschool education. The sample of the study includes the mothers of preschool age children attending to public preschools in Gölbaşı district of Ankara. A total of 50 mothers involved in the study. Mothers were classified into two groups: control group (n=25) and experiment group (n=25). “Preschool Education Information Form” and “Personal Information Form” were developed by the authors. The data obtained were analysed using the following techniques: Kruskal Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney U Test, Test of Significance of the Variance between two means, and One-Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA).
