Lise Öğrencilerinin Sorumluluk Düzeylerinin Çeşitli Değişkenlere Göre İncelenmesi

An Examination of High School Students' Level of Responsibility According to Several Variables

Özet

Bu çalışma lise öğrencilerinin sorumluluk düzeylerini cinsiyet, okul türü ve sınıf seviyesine göre incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Genel tarama yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın katılımcılarını 2017-2018 öğretim yılında Siirt’te liseye kayıtlı 536 lise öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin sorumluluk düzeyini belirlemek için Beş Faktör Envanteri’nin sorumluluk alt boyutu kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada kızların sorumluluk puanlarının istatistiksel olarak erkeklerden anlamlı bir şekilde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca meslek lisesi öğrencileri ile imam hatip lisesi öğrencilerinin sorumluluk puanlarının istatistiksel olarak Anadolu Lisesi öğrencilerinden anlamlı bir şekilde daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sınıf düzeyine göre sorumluluk puan ortalamaları arasında ise anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine high school students' level of responsibility according to sex, school type and grade. The participants of the study that was conducted using general screening method are 536 high school students in Siirt during the 2017-2018 academic year. To determine the students' level of responsibility, conscientiousness sub-dimension of The Big Five Inventory was used. Collected data were analysed through SPSS. It was found that the female students' responsibility scores were statistically significantly higher compared to the male students. In addition, responsibility scores of the students at vocational high school and religious high school were statistically significantly higher compared to the Anatolian high school students. However, there was no significant difference between average responsibility scores of the students according to grade.
